There is a beautiful waterfall near my Colorado mountain home, and it has inspired numerous of my sculptures over the years. At the end of winter, the waterfall is frozen solid, and as the weather slowly warms, the ice begins to melt; eventually it will become a flowing waterfall again, but at first, it is just a little trickle of water that you have to look closely to be able to see.
